Yesterday, June 6, 2026 marked a memorable milestone for the young musicians of the Pitong Balaraw Organization as the Pitong Balaraw Band proudly made its debut in its very first Battle of the Bands competition held in Pinagdanlayan, Dolores, Quezon.
For many of our band members, this was their first experience performing in a competitive music event. Standing on stage before an audience, showcasing their talent, passion, and dedication, was already a victory in itself. While the band did not take home the championship trophy, they earned something equally valuable—experience, confidence, and the admiration of everyone who supports them.
We are incredibly proud of what these young musicians have accomplished. They demonstrated courage, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition. In all fairness, the competing bands were more seasoned and professional in terms of performance and experience. However, our young performers held their own and gave their best on stage, representing Pitong Balaraw with pride and dignity.
To our band members: congratulations on this important achievement. Remember that every great musician starts somewhere. Competitions are not only about winning but also about learning, growing, and becoming better artists. Continue practicing, exploring new songs, improving your craft, and most importantly, enjoying every moment you spend on stage.
The Pitong Balaraw Band is composed of young members of the Pitong Balaraw Organization, and this debut performance is just the beginning of what we believe will be an exciting musical journey.
