Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, passion, and raw talent as Pitong Balaraw Inc. proudly presents the Pitong Balaraw Battle of the Bands 2026 on September 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Alcala Covered Court, Dolores, Quezon.

This exciting event aims to showcase aspiring musicians and provide amateur bands a stage to express their creativity, energy, and love for music. Whether you play rock, alternative, pop, reggae, acoustic, or OPM, this is your chance to perform in front of a live audience and compete for a championship trophy and cash prize.

We are officially inviting bands from all places to join the competition and become part of an electrifying musical celebration.

Contest Guidelines and Criteria

Band Composition

• Each band must consist of 3 to 8 members.

• All members must be amateur musicians and must not be signed under major recording labels.

Eligibility

• The contest is open to all ages.

Performance Time

• Each band will be given a maximum of 20 minutes performance time.

• The allotted time already includes:

  • Performance of 2–3 songs

  • Stage preparation and transitions

Setup Time

• Bands will be given a strict 5-minute setup and sound check period.

Song Selection

• Bands are free to perform original compositions or cover songs.

• At least one (1) OPM song (tunog kalye) must be included in the set.

• We will be restricting songs to be used only 2x for the entire competition. Early registration of song entry will secure you for playing the song.

Content Restrictions

• Performances must avoid:

  • Obscene or vulgar lyrics

  • Offensive behavior

  • Inappropriate stage acts

• Organizers reserve the right to restrict songs that violate contest standards.

Equipment

• Contestants must bring their own:

  • Musical instruments

  • Guitar/bass pedals

  • Amplifiers

• The organizers will provide:

  • Drum set

  • PA system and sound reinforcement

Contestant slots are limited, so gather your bandmates, choose your songs, start rehearsing, and prepare to rock the stage.
