Walking in Color: Our Hambujan Festival Experience

Today was nothing short of unforgettable as we proudly joined the grand parade of the Hambujan Festival in Dolores, Quezon. From the moment we stepped onto the lively streets, you could already feel the energy in the air—music playing, people cheering, and colors everywhere.

Marching alongside the LGUs, various organizations, and community groups made the experience even more special. It felt like the whole town came together as one, celebrating culture, unity, and tradition. We wore our uniform t-shirts just for the occasion, making us easily recognizable as we moved through the crowd with pride.

To add more spirit to the celebration, we painted our faces with vibrant colors—each stroke a symbol of our support for this glorious festivity. It was a simple gesture, but it made us feel even more connected to the event and to each other.

The walk itself was long and, at times, exhausting. The heat, the crowd, and the constant movement definitely tested our energy. But none of that mattered. Every step was filled with laughter, excitement, and shared moments that made the tiredness worth it.

By the end of the day, we were worn out—but incredibly happy. Experiences like this remind us how powerful community celebrations can be. They bring people together, create lasting memories, and strengthen the bonds we share.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Hambujan Festival—ready to walk the streets once again, louder, prouder, and even more colorful.
