Thirty years of friendship, creativity, service, and shared memories—30 years of Pitong Balaraw!
On September 19, 2026, members, families, friends, and supporters of Pitong Balaraw Inc. gathered at the Event Center in Dolores, Quezon to celebrate a remarkable milestone: the organization’s 30th Anniversary.
Although not all of our members were able to attend because of individual and personal circumstances, those who came together made the celebration truly special. The presence of our members, their families, former members, and friends reminded us that Pitong Balaraw is more than an organization—it is a family built through years of friendship, shared experiences, and love for arts, culture, and community service.
A Rainy Start, But a Warm Celebration
The celebration started a little later than planned because of the heavy rains. But the weather could not dampen the excitement and enthusiasm of everyone who came.
As our guests arrived, the program formally began with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the invocation and prayers led by our President, Lady Chrystel Montierro.
The welcome remarks were delivered by Reaumur Matibag, followed by a presentation of the organization’s history and journey through the years by Reaumur Matibag and Rexon Matibag.
It was a wonderful opportunity to look back at where Pitong Balaraw started, the people who helped build it, the challenges we faced, the projects we accomplished, and the many friendships and memories we created along the way.
Remembering Our Roots
One of the highlights of the evening was a special talk about the history of Hambujan, delivered by our very own adviser, Mr. Manny Calayag.
His stories reminded everyone of the importance of preserving our local traditions, culture, and history—and of Pitong Balaraw’s role in supporting and participating in the cultural life of Dolores throughout the years.
Music, Food, and Celebration
As dinner was served, the Pitong Balaraw Band entertained everyone with their music and performances. The atmosphere quickly became lively as members and guests enjoyed good food, great music, laughter, and conversations with old friends.
And of course, no Pitong Balaraw celebration would be complete without our much-awaited raffle giveaways!
Many wonderful gifts were given away throughout the evening. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our generous sponsors and supporters who contributed raffle prizes and helped make the celebration even more exciting and memorable.
Honoring Those Who Have Supported Pitong Balaraw
During the celebration, Plaques of Appreciation were presented to three individuals who have given unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement to Pitong Balaraw throughout the years:

Their dedication and support have contributed greatly to the continued growth and success of our organization. We are deeply grateful for their guidance and for always believing in the vision and purpose of Pitong Balaraw.
Remembering Our Fallen Members
Perhaps one of the most emotional moments of the evening was when we remembered our fallen members through special video presentations.
As their photographs and memories appeared on the screen, we were reminded of the people who once stood beside us, shared our dreams, participated in our activities, and helped make Pitong Balaraw what it is today.
Though they are no longer physically with us, they remain part of our story and will never be forgotten.
Their memories will continue to live in the hearts of the Pitong Balaraw family.

30 Years and Counting
Our 30th Anniversary was more than just a celebration. It was a night of remembering our past, appreciating the present, and looking forward to the future.
We celebrated the people who built Pitong Balaraw. We honored those who supported us. We remembered those who are no longer with us. And most importantly, we celebrated the friendship and family that continues to bring us together.
To everyone who attended, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Your presence made our 30th Anniversary truly memorable.
As we close this chapter of our journey, we look forward to creating more memories, discovering new talents, serving our community, and continuing the legacy of Pitong Balaraw.
Thirty years have passed, but our journey continues.
