Pitong Balaraw Joins Lagnas River Clean-Up Drive for International Coastal Clean-Up Day

On September 18, 2026, Pitong Balaraw Inc. proudly joined the Lagnas River Clean-Up Drive in celebration of International Coastal Clean-Up (ICC) Day.
Although International Coastal Clean-Up Day is observed around the world with efforts focused on keeping our oceans, coastlines, rivers, and waterways clean, this year we chose to begin with something close to home—our very own Lagnas River in Dolores, Quezon.
As an organization committed to Arts, Culture, and Service, Pitong Balaraw believes that serving the community also means taking responsibility for the environment that surrounds us. Together with various community groups, volunteers, and LGU personnel, our members took part in a coordinated river clean-up activity, helping remove waste and debris from the river and its surroundings.
For us, this was more than just a clean-up activity. It was an opportunity to work together, strengthen our sense of community, and remind everyone that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility.
The Lagnas River is part of our community and our local environment. By caring for it today, we are helping preserve it for the generations that will come after us.
Pitong Balaraw Inc. is grateful to everyone who participated and contributed their time and effort to make the activity meaningful and successful. Every piece of trash collected, every hand that helped, and every person who took part is a small but important contribution toward a cleaner and healthier Dolores.
